Tip of the Week

Adding video to your site can enhance the power of your page to sell products. Customers buying products online cannot pick up items to give them a closer look. As an online seller, you want to provide your customers with every opportunity to experience a product before making a purchase.

Video_scene

Through video you can show the story behind the product, how the product is made and most importantly demonstrate why the product is worth the asking price. Customer testimonials can also enhance the power of your page to successful sell your product to customers who may be hundreds or thousands of miles away.

Short (30 seconds or less) clips work best for getting your message across while keeping your customers attention. Need help? AMBIT staff can help. Contact us at (907) 279-2637.

How To...

video camera

Once you have video, getting it onto your AMBIT page is easy. Before you begin, remember that all videos must be in Windows Media (WMV) format.

Log into your AMBIT account and click on the Media Vault tab. Another set of tabs will appear. Choose the Videos tab. If you have saved your video on a CD or DVD, insert it into your computer. Click on the browse button. Locate the file on either your computer or CD/DVD. Once you select the file, the filename and path will appear in the field next to the Browse button. Click on the Upload File button. Depending on the size of the file, this process could take several minutes. That’s it, you have added a video onto your page.

If you need help with any part of this process, we’re here to help. Give us a call or shoot us an e-mail.
